Tell us what needs doing and we will come out and take a look.
When you reach out to us for training, the first conversation is about your situation, not a sales pitch. We ask what your workplace or household looks like, who needs to be trained, how many people are involved, and what kinds of emergencies you are most likely to face. We talk about your schedule and your space, because a session at a construction site runs different from one at an office or a community centre. We explain what the course covers, how long it takes, and what each participant will practise with their own hands. Before any commitment, you know exactly what to expect and what it will cost.
Mission The Jamaica Rescue Academy Limited mission is to save lives by promoting safety, preventing injuries and deaths at work, in homes and communities and on the road through leadership, research, education, advocacy, . In order to achieve our mission, Jamaica Rescue Academy Limited is open to all interested groups, organizations and individuals. The necessary training and educational activities are encouraged and/or provided to ensure the maintenance of the professional, efficient, effective and quality goods and services provided. Jamaica Rescue Academy Limited will keep informed about new and improved practices regionally and globally related to safety, emergency and medical protocol.

When we run a session, we look after the space as much as we look after the people in it. We arrive with our own equipment, set up cleanly, and make sure every participant gets a clear view and room to practise. We keep the noise down, watch the clock, and move through the material without rushing. Before we call a session finished, we check that each person has completed every practical skill, answered the review questions, and knows what to do in the first few minutes of an emergency. We leave the space as we found it, with no mess left behind.

After the training, we stay available for the questions that come up later, when someone actually faces an emergency and wonders whether they remembered the steps correctly. We think of the people we train as neighbours, not just participants, because in this community you never know whose life you might be asked to save. We want every person who leaves our session to feel confident that they can act, and we want their employers and families to know that the training was thorough and practical. When you deal with us, you deal with people who live and work in the same region you do.

Tell us about your group and what you want to learn. We will get back to you with a course plan and a date that works.
